Every month since the introduction of ProZorro Ukrainian high-ranking officials have reported on the extraordinary effectiveness of the electronic procurement system, which is proved by impressive figures. Despite the prospects of above mentioned e-system it’s difficult to agree completely with these estimations. Implementation of certain provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Public Procurement" results in a number of problems and even economic losses, especially at the stage after the signing of the procurement contract. The article examines the practice of applying the possibility of making changes to concluded contracts. It is admitted that the right to change price per unit of goods may lead to abuses both by customers and suppliers. Some fuzzy provisions of certain articles of above-mentioned Law and other normative documents may provoke these actions. So it’s necessary to introduce amendments to legislative acts to eliminate the identified shortcomings.
