The article covers the research results of the economic component’s parameters of the hop production in Ukraine. As a methodological tool of research, both general scientific and special methods are used, in particular: economical-statistical, deterministic factor analysis, abstract-logical, induction and deduction, comparison, etc. In this case, the data of agricultural enterprises of Zhytomyr, L’viv, Rivne, Khmelnytsky and other regions were used. The dynamics, composition and structure of the hop cultivation costs were highlighted, which made it possible to find out the reasons for the change in the cost of production of 1 dt of products. The tendencies of changes in cash receipts of hop products and the main factors that caused them are determined. The profit generation of hops producers was analyzed. The author also estimated the economic efficiency of growing hops in agricultural enterprises. An analytical database was worked out for the formulation of a system of measures for the development of modernization of hop enterprises in Ukraine.
