Abstract: |
Computer technologies are learnt by millions of schoolchildren and students. The major fact is, that its learning would start with the objective ultimate determinations of main notions. One of the first notions of programming is the notion of information. Ukraine Standard Regulations 2392-94 treat it as follows: ”Information – is knowledge, which is analyzed during the communication process. Communication is the transmission of sense while sending signals.” International Standard Regulations ISO/IEC 10746-2-1996 treat the notion “information” as data, which is perceived by a person or a device as the reflection of the material world during the process of communication.” Various similar definitions are presented in different references. These definitions are not ultimate, because they ignore available information in the natural systems and organic world. The objective and ultimate treatment of the notion “information” which describes the nature and sense of information is proposed to be introduced into practice by the author of the article. This determination is sure to be that by K. Shannon: “Information is neutralized entropy”. It is objective and unequivocal, which has already been introduced into practice for evolutions of the information unit in bites. In this abstract mathematic model is filled with physical content, all features of the notion information – energy nature, receiver and control can be identified in it. The Shannon entropy is physically similar to the Boltzmann entropy. The similarity of the mathematic model to that physical one was shown by Brilluen. While analyzing the approximate model of the natural dynamic system “Sun – Atmosphere – Earth” the author of the article stresses, that the universal natural information is the energy disbalance in the system and the information sign about the energy disbalance in the natural systems is the Boltzmann entropy; and the natural regulator which keeps the system stable, is the second law of thermodynamics. The author shows, that information is not a substance and the following determination of the term “information” is proposed: “information is signals and data perceived by the receiver and transformed into control signals or recorded by any carrier”. |
